It Was a Bad Day!

So the Lakers lost. Were humiliated really. It was a great season, but a REALLY shitty way to finish it.

Joe is a SUPER Lakers fan. SUPER. He is a season ticket holder and always has been. He never misses a home game and was at every single home playoff game. What it means for us at Franco is that we feel Lakers’ losses especially hard around the office.

Arlo x Valo Boot Collab!

ThemGoods Distribution has released the first official photos of the Artist Series rollerblade boot (AE.1) that I have been working on with the Valo Brand Skate Company. I have been very excited about this project, but we have been keeping it under wraps, so I am thrilled that the photos are finally starting to come out!

Food Fight! Shik Do Rak Battle Royale!

I don’t know why, but sometimes Joe gets REALLY competitive. Especially when it comes to me. I am from Dallas, so he relishes every Mavericks or Cowboys loss. When we got a grind rail in the warehouse he did a trick on his first try and couldn’t wait to see how many tries it would take the “X Games Gold Medalist.”  I won some poker tournament at a dumpy hotel in Vegas and now Joe feels like he has to win the World Series of Poker.

Busywork Wrap-up / Magical Fairy Beerland!

Last Wednesday night’s Busywork at Detroit Bar was pretty great.

One of the raddest things about two dollar beers is that people don’t really give a shit about them. If you pay ten dollars for a cocktail, then chances are good you are gonna drink it all. But when you only have to pay two bucks (it used to only be one!!) for a shitty beer, then it is real easy to drink a little bit and then forget about it.
