Another installment in the fakeRICH event series “80s vs. 90s” is going down tonight. Following is the copy from the press release that I received from fakeRICH promoting tonight’s event:
In the past we have had headliners such as BIZ MARKIE, AND FATLIP cruise through our 80′s vs. 90′s nights and tonight we have a very special “G” lined up to come out. I can’t officially announce who it is but if you don’t show up you might get “Regulated”. Ok ok, I’ve officially said too much. I hope to see you all there!

I was turned on to two super rad things this week. The first was “Words with Friends” which is an app for the iPhone that basically allows you to play Scrabble head’s-up against your friends. I’ve been addicted to another iPhone word puzzle app called, “Scramble” for a while now and used to play it almost exclusively on my iPhone, but now “Words with Friends” has made it into my regular rotation. The other thing I discovered this week was how to take screen shots on your iPhone (while holding down the home button, just click the power button on top). The two rad things I learned this week came together and culminated in the screenshot above which was taken of a word penis that was inadvertently built while playing “Words with Friends!”

My good friend Chris Mitchell just had his first book published. The book is called “Cast Member Confidential” and it is a memoir of the year Chris spent in Orlando working at Disney World. The book is garnering some attention (and controversy) because it lifts the veil on the otherwise unknown (and presumably unflattering) behind-the-scenes culture of the Disney World staff (or as they are known in the parlance of Disney speak, “cast members”). Tales of cast members doing drugs and having sex on property has apparently got the Disney community up in arms.
