GOST

Last weekend there was an event held in Tokyo called the “T-shirts LOVE Summit.”

The event brings together T-shirt designers and shops from around Japan and our Japanese distributors were there with a GOST booth!  I’m not sure what, “Panty & Stocking (with Garterbelt)” is, but their logo featured prominently on the T-shirts LOVE website.  Perhaps it was a presenting sponsor or maybe it was a section of the T-shirt LOVE show devoted to panty and stocking enthusiasts??

(Update: Andrew Tunney informs us that “Panty & Stocking (with Garterbelt)” is a new anime scheduled to premiere in Japan sometime in October.  The title refers to the two main characters, “Panty,” the blonde one and “Stocking,” the gothic one.  They are angels sent to Earth to battle…GHOSTS!!)

Local artists Eriko Ohama and Chihiro Hiramatsu chipped in and painted a giant GOST banner to be used in the floor space of the GOST booth.  It came out great!  Check out the very first photo of the girls with the banner to see the final result.

ClapsWest shop manager, Chiaki Ito worked the booth. Check out all of the flyers that they printed out! The report from the show was that GOST got a great response.
