My girlfriend has three kids. Two are young and about my daughter’s age, but her oldest is already a teenager (she had him back in the 90s when the whole teen pregnancy thing first started sweeping the nation)!
Drake, her teenage son, lives with his dad in Bishop, CA, which is basically at the base of Mammoth Mountain.
Spring Break is right around the corner, but Drake and his dad decided to take an early little sabbatical to LA, so Nikki scooped up her son and brought him out to the OC for a few days.
And you know what that means…
TIME TO GO TO WORK!
There ain’t no vacation in Santa Ana!
Our warehouse was overflowing with stuff that just needed to be done!
I put Drake right to work making boxes for use in a new storage system for our hoodies.
Drake, GMO and I folded, taped and cut the boxes.
And then we stacked them up and moved them into the garage.
Much better! What a difference!
I am sure Santa Ana will be right at the top of the list of places Drake would love to go to spend his Spring Break and we will be right here waiting…with plenty for him to do!
