GOST
It takes a lot to rouse me from the comforts of my domestic doldrums these days. My motivation, like my ass, gets enveloped by the cushy confines of my plush leather couch as I resign to another episode of Project Runway or Lost. But, last week G-MO tempted me (texted me) with about the only thing that could have stirred me from my stupor. “Die Antwoord at Cinespace tonight!” he wrote.
At the BCSD Tradeshow people kept coming up to me and showing me their tattoos, like this one of Franky that was modified to show him carrying a pair of skates.
We are proud to announce a great new retailer that we just picked up in Littleton, CO. BC Surf & Sport has stores across the country and they just decided to bring GOST into their flagship store in Colorado.
The wildly popular kid’s show, Yo Gabba Gabba!, is having a “design your own T-shirt” contest.

We love Halloween around here at GOST! This Halloween we got to make a bunch of decorations and dress our little Franky ghost up as all kinds of classic horror characters.

My family has a skatepark in Texas, Eisenbergs Skatepark, and every year we host a giant competition for rollerbladers called the Hoedown. This year will be our THIRTEENTH year putting on the contest!

Just saw this awesome post on Rollernews.com. It’s a mural that was done at a skatepark in Strasbourg, France featuring a medley of “Franky the Ghost” designs. It’s got the “Kern County” Franky in prison stripes holding bags of money (cents!) from the “Money in a Bank” tee and riding the bomb from the “More War!” graphic.
Big ups to the artists Wize and Phalanger for representing Franky and GOST in France!
