G-G-G-G-GOST!!
The major apparel industry tradeshow, “Magic,” is taking place this week in Las Vegas. Michael and I drove out for a couple of days to check it out. G-MO couldn’t join us because he was sick (aw!), but Travis and Kayla came along for the ride. The trip from Orange County to Vegas is about five hours each way. That left plenty of time to talk about ALL kinds of things.
Skating is something that I don’t get to do nearly as much as I used to, or as much as I’d like to. So it was without any hesitation that I accepted the invitation from Jaime (Club Pistol) to meet him at a public skatepark in Fullerton for a little lunchtime session.
I was just alerted to something on Twitter (thanks @nickysavage and @fakerich) that was SO amazing I just feel like I have to share it here.
We took a GOSTBRAND field trip out to Azusa to visit Hyphy Crunk at The Heist headquarters (aka Factory XIX) and to discuss the details of a GOST take-over at The Heist.

We don’t get much in the way of weather around here in “sunny” Southern California, so rain (especially heavy rain) qualifies as a pretty significant weather event.
Michael and I had lunch at Yoshinoya today. I noticed this sign posted in the restaurant and I couldn’t resist.

Come out tonight to celebrate Michael’s birthday at Detroit bar! Not only is Michael the Sales Manager for GOSTBRAND, he also keeps everyone up to date on the latest music and cultural happenings going on in and around Orange County and LA through his much ballyhooed blog, fakeRICH.
Just before we broke for the Thanksgiving holiday we received ALL of our Holiday 09 production. We were ecstatic to see the product, but we got buried beneath a sea of boxes!
The GOST denim project is something that we have been very excited about.
