Everyday more and more orders come in from all over the US and from places as far away as France and Australia. Sometimes I take on ridiculous projects against my better judgment. Sonny and his manager Nathanael called me last week to ask if I could have a T-shirt done by this week. Not a T-shirt graphic mind you, which would be a tough turn-around by itself, but a printed, delivered T-shirt that would be ready to sell by this Wednesday! In less than one week??!!
For the first time (ever, I think) neither Nikki nor I had any kids this weekend. I’m working on a T-shirt collaboration for Sonny Moore, so on Saturday Nikki and I drove out to the Pomona Fairgrounds to see Sonny play. After over an hour of driving from gate to gate chasing down phantom tickets and arguing with unsympathetic security guards I finally decided to throw in the towel and we left. Clearly it just wasn’t meant to be.
